Why do I love Saeco Royal Professional Espresso Machine?
My first encounter with Saeco Royal Professional was over six years ago when I started my journey to the world of espresso and espresso machine at Moka Dubai, UAE.
Having been exposed to different kinds of equipment from household coffee machine, corporate coffee equipment and professional espresso machines in providing solutions to different set of clients, the distinct quality of each espresso machines was easily defined.
In the small coffee equipment solutions for individuals and small offices (upto 10 people), my all time favourite still remains to be the Royal family (Royal Professional and Royal Cappuccino Espresso Machines).
A lot of different models exist now that proves to be more sophisticated, incorporating different set of technologies in the equipment itself, however, being the conservative type in equipment selection, simplicity and efficiency is my main "attraction feature".
The Saeco Royal Professional provides a very good espresso extraction which is immediately noticeable with the crema, consistency and taste of the espresso (this, ofcourse, as in any machine, coffee matters a lot to obtain the quality you desire).
The buttons and interface is easy to use. The cappuccino is easily obtained by just moving the cup to the "cappuccinatore" to obtain milk froth. It's a two-press system for espresso beverages with milk, however, the good thing that I mostly like about this system is that you shall be able to control the amount of milk (start/stop button) and quality of froth that you want with your beverage (there is a pin that may be adjusted).
Along with programmable buttons as per the size of your cup, the grinder maybe adjusted as well for the desired strength that you want for your espresso.
The finer the grinding is, the stronger the taste. The coarser the grinding of the coffee is, the lighter the taste.
As the coffee is freshly grind, the smell of the aroma is also pleasing to the palate...and this unique feeling is like warming up in having that great cup of espresso.
Since Saeco Royal Professional espresso machine is built with minimal "electronics", the machine is not complicated to use and is very user friendly. It also lasts without too many problems caused by automation if the individual user is looking for an almost "headache free" coffee equipment.
